Jogging together

The Sports SC is organizing jogging trainings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, everyone can participate, no matter what your level is. The goal is to participate at the city jogging event on the 6th of July.

The first training is today, but you can join at any moment, just be sure to confirm your attendance, in order to facilitate communication.

If you are unsure whether you will participate in the event or not, don’t worry, you always have the possibility to sign up for free on the very day of the run. You can also join the trainings without participating in the event, of course.

Your person of contact is Marlen, if you have any questions (note that she is away from from the 28th of May until the 9th of June).

Practical info:

WHEN: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 p.m.
WHERE: JMO (in front of the entrance, there are changing rooms and showers), unless indicated otherwise (see excel file).

WHAT: Varied training routes. Please feel free to suggest a nice route. We start with a 30 minutes jogging, and for the rather untrained among us we can establish a sort of step-by-step training plan.

RACE: In order to perform well at the race itself we should consider the following:
– For the 10 km distance the aim is to endure ca. 1 hour. We should try to approach this time during the course of our training sessions.
– For the 6 km distance the aim is 30-35 minutes.
